Sirvoy now has two new ways to sign in: a passkey, and codes from an authenticator app. Both are quicker and safer than waiting on a login text, and both are ready for you now.
Passkeys: sign in with a tap
A passkey lets you sign in with Face ID, a fingerprint, or a security key. It lives on your own device, so signing in is just a glance or a touch.
It also shuts down phishing, one of the most common ways accounts get stolen.
“I’ve seen how convincing a fake login page can be, and even careful people get caught out,” says Johan Wilfer, our CTO. “A passkey takes that risk away. There’s no code to type, so there’s nothing for anyone to steal.”
Authenticator app: create safe codes on your device
An authenticator app, like Google Authenticator, makes your six-digit code right on your phone. The code changes every 30 seconds, so each one only works for a moment. Because the app creates the code on your device, you don’t wait for a text, and it works even without signal.
Setting it up takes a couple of minutes. Google’s official guides show you how on Android and iOS.
Your SMS and email codes still work
None of this replaces what you already use. Your SMS and email codes work exactly as before, at no extra cost. Passkeys and the authenticator app sit alongside them, ready for whenever you want one.

“Security is the floor we build everything else on,” says Johan. “We’re adding new security improvements all the time, and safer ways to log in are the latest. We bring them in without taking away what already works for you.”
