Nestled in Öregrund, it has a warmth that keeps guests coming back. Some start their mornings with freshly made waffles in the garden, others unwind with the only east coast sunset in Sweden, and many simply sink into the easygoing rhythm of life here, where there’s no rush to be anywhere but inside the moment.

But running a hotel like this? Well, that’s another story. In 2018, due to a change in family circumstances, Jennifer Grahn took over Klockargården, carrying on the dream her father started in 1998. While the hotel had grown one handcrafted room at a time, the behind-the-scenes work was far from smooth sailing. Booking chaos, double reservations, and endless admin work made it clear: something had to change.

Since switching to Sirvoy in 2019, Klockargården has done more than just keep up. It has flourished. Revenue has grown by 127%, while revenue per available room (RevPAR) has increased by 109%. The hotel has expanded with two new rooms and has three more on the way. Managing full-property bookings has also become much easier, especially for weddings and group retreats.
