Sirvoy’s channel manager can connect with Hostelworld to retrieve bookings and automatically update room availability and prices.
Before You Start:
- Create a Hostelworld account.
- On Hostelworld, remove the “Stop Sell” rate restriction. Otherwise, guests won’t be able to book after the connection is set up.
- Request a Hostelworld connection at support@sirvoy.com with:
- Your Hostelworld account ID.
- Your property name on Hostelworld.
Connect Your Sirvoy and Hostelworld Accounts:
Once Hostelworld has accepted the connection request, we’ll let you know via email and you can begin the connection process.
- In Sirvoy, go to Settings -> Channels -> Hostelworld and click “Edit”.
- Map your room types on Hostelworld to the matching room types on Sirvoy.
- Prices for Hostelworld sub-rates must be managed from Hostelworld rather than mapped in Sirvoy (although they appear on the mapping page).
- Import any existing Hostelworld bookings to Sirvoy.
- Contact the Sirvoy support team and we will activate the connection.
Your Sirvoy and Hostelworld accounts are now connected!
Before You Go:
From now on, Sirvoy will control rates, availability, and restrictions (with some exceptions) for your Hostelworld account. Therefore, make all future updates to those features in Sirvoy because they will override those settings in Hostelworld.
Changes made in Sirvoy will apply to Hostelworld within minutes.
Hostelworld doesn’t send credit card security codes (CVC/CVV), so Stripe cannot charge the cards directly. However, depending on your bank, there’s a workaround that may help:
