Different rates need to be activated on Booking.com, depending on how you would like to set your pricing. Ask your account manager at Booking.com to activate the necessary rate(s) for your room type(s).

Single Rooms & beds in a dorm
These should have “Standard Rate” set up at Booking.com.

Double Rooms & Triple Rooms (or more) at a fixed price
These should always have both “Standard Rate” and “Single Use Rate” set up at Booking.com. Please set up both rates at Booking.com, whether you sell the Double Room at a fixed or a flexible price.

Triple Rooms (or more) at a flexible price
These should have “derived pricing” set up at Booking.com.

“Derived pricing” in detail
Example: Let’s say you want to sell a family room for up to 3 guests. The price depends on whether it is booked for 1, 2 or 3 guests (= flexible price.) For “derived pricing” we only send the highest price (in this example: for 3 guests) to Booking.com, which is then the “base price.” The prices for 2 and 1 guests should be derived from that base price. Whenever you change the base price in Sirvoy, the derived prices in Booking.com will follow accordingly. Derived pricing is set up by contacting your local Booking.com team.

There are 2 options for deriving prices at Booking.com:

Prices can be derived as fixed amounts.
E.g.: Price for 3 guests (= base price): 500$
Derivation for 2 guests: -100$ from the base price. Which makes a price of 400$.
Derivation for 1 guest: -150$ from the base price. Which makes a price of 350$.

Prices can be derived as percentages.
E.g.: Price for 3 guests (= base price): 500$
Derivation for 2 guests: -30% from the base price. Which makes a price of 350$.
Derivation for 1 guest: -40% from the base price. Which makes a price of 300$.

This second option works best if you will be creating seasonal prices changes in Sirvoy. Please note, however, that there is no functionality in Sirvoy to derive prices according to percentages, you would have to do the math yourself.
